I’m 35 and have lifted...Thank you for your service!<br />I’m 35 and have lifted on and off for the last 5-6 years. A couple of months on and 6 months to a year off. I own 3 businesses and get busy often. When I was 25 I spent a year training as a power lifter. I reached a max bench press of 612 pounds. I’m 35 now and have been back at it for 5 weeks after taking a year off. I just did 500 again. I would imagine I have good genetics. My dad was a strong man. I have never taken any supplements or drugs besides protein and energy drinks before lifting. I’m hoping I can stay strong like you in 20 years. Good luck and again thank you for serving!!!! This is a raw "gym" lift. Would not have counted in a competition. I was a solid 500 comp lifter. This is at a weight of 220lbs. I've always been naturally strong.
