This week's big news trend... the fatkini is flying off the shelves in stores throughout America... It is a plus size swim suit designed for women that are VERY overweight. At this point are we really losing all hope on weight control in this country? I don't even know what to say on this one... On the one hand everyone should be able to enjoy a beach or a pool, but on the other hand this is yet another example of how we as American's glorify destroying our health. Instead of solving problems and fixing things, we postpone, we make excuses, and we look for quick and simple fixes (kind of how people mistreat their gym memberships) . We are currently in a health care system that is on the brink of collapse. Is this really the time to make it more fashionable to be unhealthy!? The fat kini will join the ranks of the girder belt, the tight body suits, all the things we do to avoid solving the actual problem we have of a growing weight and growing health epidemic. And on top of that, I have some other breaking news for you, it doesn't look good anyway!!!!!!!
