F--k This, I'm Doing Sit Ups Again!

I'm sorry, but crunches are too easy! As always contact a doctor or medical professional before starting any diet or fitness program, but for me, crunches are out for awhile. They are too easy. For me to feel a burn off them I need to bare down like I'm having a child. I've got a great way to do sit ups that doesn't involve as much stress on the legs/lower back. I lock my legs in on the bench where my feet would be instead, so that I am secured in mid thigh instead of with my feet putting stress on the hip flexors. With sit ups I actually fail. With crunches I sit on a pad forever and lift my shoulder blades off the matte feeling a small contraction in only the top quadrants of my abs. With sit ups it goes all the way down!

My workout life started with solely sit ups. In my parents basement my original workout was just doing sit ups for 7 to 8 minutes, as many as I could, it worked in 1996, and it is still working now! Within just a few weeks of doing them again I'm feeling stronger, and looking more cut.

I'm not saying sit ups are for everyone, but be the judge of what works for you. I can't suffice with just crunches anymore!

  3. Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I'm
getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers and I'm looking at alternatives for another
platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
